Technology Behind A Premium Water Filter

The first step in choosing a water system is understanding the differences in carbon filter types. Conventional carbon filters are made from granules which are most often bonded using a resin – which decreases the filtration surface area and therefore the quality of the filtration.

By contrast, premium filters such as those in Billi’s range utilise activated carbon fibres with minimal bonding agents in a graded density profile. This Fibron X® media has a superior contaminant reduction performance and capability. All of our filters remove sediment and reduce chlorine and organic chemicals.
