Often we end up with items that sit in cupboards never used, taking up precious space – the coffee mug collection expands without you noticing, and you have food items that you know you won’t use or are past their expiry date.

2. Our second space-saving idea for small kitchens is to get savvy with your storage space. Maximise your cupboard space by adding extra shelving or risers. Use baskets or containers to keep items organised and tidy, and install hooks to hang mugs. To free up benchtop space, add a knife block drawer insert or magnetic knife bar so knives can be stored off the bench.

3. Installing one of our water filtration systems is a great space-saving idea for small kitchens.
